Grade 9 English is designed to strengthen students’ communicative competence through a balanced integration of Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Grammar, and Vocabulary skills. The course is organized around real-life, relevant themes such as Urban Living, Traffic Accidents, National Parks, Horticulture, Poverty in Ethiopia, and The Internet, encouraging students to engage critically with both global and local issues. Each unit blends language skill development with thematic content to foster not only linguistic accuracy and fluency but also civic awareness and personal expression.
