Chemistry

Grade 9 Chemistry introduces students to the foundational concepts of chemical science, emphasizing the importance and scope of chemistry in everyday life and industrial processes. The Subject explores the interrelationship between chemistry and other natural sciences, guiding learners through essential topics such as scientific measurement, the atomic structure, periodic classification of elements, and various types of chemical bonding. Students will gain an appreciation for the role of chemistry in Ethiopian industries and society while developing experimental and analytical skills through scientific methods and inquiry-based learning.
